Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Tech2You Autocare Pty Ltd (ABN 54 653 537 190) ("we", "us", "our"), the lead form on this website, and any mobile mechanic services we provide to you. By submitting our form or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Tech2You Autocare Pty Ltd is a mobile mechanic business based in Perth, Western Australia. We provide on-site vehicle servicing (log book services, basic services, and major services) to private vehicle owners, tradespeople, and fleet operators across the Perth metropolitan area.

2. The service we provide

When you submit our lead form, we will contact you by phone (and SMS if you have consented) to discuss your vehicle servicing needs and provide a free, no-obligation quote. There is no commitment to book a service after receiving a quote.

If you proceed to book a service, we will attend your nominated location at the agreed time to perform the work. You must provide reasonable access (a car bay or similar space) and ensure the vehicle is accessible.

3. SMS communications

When you submit our lead form and tick the SMS consent boxes, you agree to receive SMS messages from Tech2You Autocare Pty Ltd at the mobile number you provided. The following terms apply to all SMS communications from us.

Types of messages

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency may vary depending on the stage of your enquiry or service booking. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Tech2You Autocare Pty Ltd does not charge a fee for sending SMS messages, but your carrier may charge you to receive them.

How to opt out

You can opt out of any SMS communication from us at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. Reply HELP to get assistance or contact details. Opt-out requests are processed promptly and you will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out.

Carrier liability

Mobile carriers (including Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered SMS messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, particularly in areas with poor mobile coverage, when your device is switched off, or during carrier maintenance.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to opt in to SMS messages from Tech2You Autocare Pty Ltd. By submitting our form with SMS consent ticked, you confirm you are 18 or older.

Privacy of your mobile number

Our handling of your phone number and SMS consent is governed by our Privacy Policy. SMS consent is not shared with third parties except our SMS service provider (Twilio, via Go High Level), which acts on our behalf under contractual privacy obligations.

4. Quotes and pricing

All quotes are provided based on the information you give us and our initial inspection. If, during the service, we identify additional work that needs to be done, we will contact you for approval before proceeding. We will not perform additional chargeable work without your consent.

Payment is due on completion of the service unless we have agreed account terms with you in writing.

5. Warranty

2-year unlimited kilometre warranty on parts and labour. Every service we perform is covered by a 2-year warranty with no kilometre cap, subject to the conditions below.

This warranty covers defects in the parts we have supplied and the labour we have performed. It does not cover:

Free tow within 12 months

If your vehicle breaks down within 12 months of a service we have performed, and the breakdown relates to work covered by our warranty, we will arrange and pay for a tow to a location we agree on. This benefit applies once per service event and within the Perth metropolitan area.

6. Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service, please give us at least 24 hours' notice where possible. We do not currently charge a cancellation fee for genuine reasons, but we reserve the right to charge for time, travel, or parts already committed if a service is cancelled at short notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss, damage, or expense arising from our services is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or refunding the amount you paid for the service.

We do not exclude or limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by contract.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the service repaired or re-performed if the service fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
